D’Addario Automotive Group of Shelton donated six Starlight Children’s Foundation® Tablets to Bridgeport Hospital Thursday afternoon. The tablets are to be used by the child life specialist to help pediatric patients relax and better cope with the diagnoses.

Feedback from child life specialists and other healthcare experts indicates that having a tablet allows them to deliver superior patient care.

The job of the Child Life Specialist is to help kids understand and prepare for their treatments. Starlight Tablets have been sponsored by companies, foundations and individuals for use in hospitals across North America.
